Quilting Bias Bars
Quilters bias bars, are a great tool for when your making narrow bias fabric strips. Which can be tricky, the smaller the bar is. The quilting bias bars are also know as Celtic bars. These can help make these narrow bias strips for stems and other areas of applique projects.

To USE :- Cut your required width of fabric on a 45 degree angle with at least 1/2 inch extra to allow for sewing. 45 degree means the bias is in action, so that it more flexible going round corners or curves. Place a quilting bias bar in the centre and sew wrong sides together. as close to the bar as possible. Be careful not to hit the bar within the fabric. Once sewn carefully cut along the fabric not to hit the stitching. Once this is complete secure the stitching by pressing the stitches. Then remove the bar and move the stitches to the back in the centre and then carefully press with an iron and they you go a tube which is ready for your project.
